Skills recognised and rewarded at Gosberton manufacturer

Two staff have been promoted and two colleagues given permanent jobs at Morris Site Machinery as we strengthen our skilled workforce at our Gosberton base.

Ben Barnes has been appointed Production Supervisor after five years working on the assembly and fitting of lighting towers. He will support the Production Manager in all planning and sales requirements in the newly created role.

Ben said: “Along with working at the company for the past five years, my love of ‘tinkering’ and fixing engines and machines has allowed me to become one of the workshop’s most knowledgeable fitters. I am so grateful for this new opportunity and will continue to work with great passion for the products.”

Rob Coward, who joined in a temporary position in January 2016, has been made Production Team Leader, where he will support Ben and the Production Manager.

Permanent contracts have also been awarded to Stephen Yarnell and Paul Thompson after working on temporary contracts.

Ian Ince, Productions Manager said: “We are delighted to reward the level of skill and experience our staff have, and recognise their potential for future growth. We are thrilled to see these talented team members progressing their careers with us as we have a firm company belief of encouraging the professional development of our staff.”
