Morris Site Machinery Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships offer excellent benefits for young people allowing them to gain invaluable work experience, learn new skills and work towards a professional qualification. 

At Morris Site Machinery we nurture fresh talent and believe our most important asset is our people. In 2009 we were voted Best Place to Work in the Construction Industry by our employees. The most determined and focussed apprentices have continued to work at Morris Site Machinery, progressing through the ranks and securing managerial positions.  

Morris Site Machinery currently runs a workshop apprenticeship programme in industrial applications through the National Government apprenticeship scheme.

This is a structured work-based training programme starting at level 2 NVQ in performing manufacturing operations. The apprentice can then choose to take either a mechanical or electronic engineering pathway, dependent upon job role, ability and preference.  

At Morris Site Machinery, we currently have three apprentices on this programme and there are some who have been with Morris Site Machinery for over 15 years including John Brogan who recently celebrated 30 year long service recognition award and Dave Pugh who now holds the position of Production Team leader.
